Lightworks: Cut out sections of a video

Lightworks can be used to cut out unneeded sections of a video. The following are steps on how to do it.

Creating a Lightworks project

To create a Lightworks project, after opening it, click on "Create a new project". Give it a name and set the framerate to 30 fps.

Adding the video to the project

First click on the `Local Files` tab and select the video. Then switch to the `Project Contents` tab and then do:
  • Add an in mark at the start of the video.
  • Add an out mark at the end of the video.
  • Click on "Insert into the target sequence" .

Removing a section

  • Add an in mark at the start of the section to be removed.
  • Add an out mark at the end of this section.
  • Click on the "Delete the marked section" .

TODO: instead of using <img lw-inmark />, instead use <lw-inmark />
